The Ford Center does not make its facility available for a “third-party event.” A “third-party” is any individual, group, or organization that otherwise has no relationship or association with the University of Mississippi. A “third-party event” is any program, activity or event that is planned, hosted, controlled, or funded by a “third-party.” An event may be deemed a “third-party event” even if University students, faculty or staff are expected to attend.

Please fill in event information as completely as possible. Please include accurate dates and times of all rehearsals, set-up times, and performances. Changes in times must be approved prior to your event. The Ford Center does not advertise events we are not presenting.

All seats are reserved with assigned seating and ticketed. All ticket sales must be coordinated through the University of Mississippi Box Office. No outside tickets will be allowed, and your event is subject to cancellation should alternate tickets be presented. Please contact Jennifer Pardoe at (662) 915-7412 at the UM Box Office. Ticketing fees will apply.

Terms

Event Advertising - I understand that the Ford Center does not provide advertising for events we are not presenting other than listing on the Ford Center website (with image if provided), listing on the outdoor signs and sharing social media posts from the presenting organization.

Scheduling Fee - I understand that a non-refundable scheduling fee of $100 will be assessed upon approval of my event. This amount will be deducted from final expenses incurred.

Event changes - I understand that any changes to the date or time of my event must be made no later than 1 month prior to my event. Changes are subject to availability and staffing and may incur additional fees. Events cancelled within one month of the event date will incur charges.

Usage Guidelines - I understand that no drugs may be used in the Ford Center. No events may use open flame. Any damage made to the building, furniture, equipment, table linens, etc. will be the responsibility of the sponsoring organization with additional charges added as needed. Caterers are to load-in through the rear loading dock and are responsible for their own equipment. Though we maintain a lost and found in the administrative office, the Ford Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items. The sponsoring organization is responsible for removing their items, decorations, etc. after the event. Cleaning charges as assessed by UM Facilities Management will apply to all events.

Parking - I understand that it is my responsibility to contact Parking and Transportation Services to arrange parking spaces and reserved parking areas for my event. The Ford Center does not provide or distribute parking passes for events.

Event Confirmation - I understand that my event is NOT approved until I receive official email confirmation. We cannot hold dates for events until final approval; but, if your date(s) are not available, we will contact you with options
