An annual event for the Ford Center, the Holiday Village offers a magical atmosphere with Gingerbread houses designed by community members and civic groups, a miniature village with a working train, a holiday-themed Lego house, a mailbox for Santa, a decorated tree surrounded by gifts by a fireplace hung with stockings, and a multi-cultural display of holiday traditions from around the world, all enveloped by cheerful and inspirational music. Hundreds of children visit the Ford Center to wander through the Village, listen to stories read by Mrs. Claus. This event is free and open to the public in December, and raises funds and collects goods for the Pantry.
